About Me

I’m recently separated and the mom of three amazing kids, and I’ve been battling bi-polar disorder for nearly 20 years. This disease has ruined many parts of my life, including my marriage, friendships and my health, only because I’ve let it. But I’ve decided not to allow it to destroy anything else. I’m trying to laugh a little every day, and if I have to laugh at myself just to get in my daily chuckle, then I have no problem with that. I’m hoping you will join me.

    • Ruby, you’re going to think I’m a total moron: how do I “link” back to your site? Do I simply paste your URL into my post? Sorry, I’m quite new at this and feeling very technically uninclined……

      • The best way for you to do it is just to leave a comment on the blogroll page. Let me know that it’s your post, then copy and paste the URL for it into the comment. I’ll be able to find you that way!

        And I don’t think you’re a moron at all!

Oh, if you want to put our site into your post itself, you need to go to your Dashboard –> Tools –> Available Tools and use the “Press This” feature. It’s really handy!

  1. As a follower of “A Way With Words”, you are invited to a domain warming party as I move to a new blog address. Click on this link –

You’ll think you are in a parallel universe.

While you are there, be sure to click the “Follow” button. Within the next week, I plan to publish exclusively from this site. Don’t miss out on any of the fun!

  2. Hi CaB,
My name is Anastasia. I just read your post from Black Box Warning. I’m an Adult child of a Bipolar Mother who choose to do nothing about her mental illness until later in her life. She believes she suffers from “depression”. She at 70 still doesn’t acknowledge the “highs & lows” of the disease process. To this day I doubt she would admit having “Bipolar Depression”. I was emotionally neglected, and ridiculed. She was no ideal role model. She has left me with many issues that I have come to understand why I ended up having them in the first place. I wanted to follow your journey, to have a better understanding of your day to day struggles and triumphs. I Applaud you for Sharing your Journey.
    Your Friend,
    Anastasia

  3. Say Margaret (I’m just gonna call you Margaret, because I just simply CanNot bring myself to call you CrazyAboutBipolar), how do I find this blog on Tumblr. I’d so seriously rather have THIS, than my 2 two 2 front teeth (well, not maybe), but you get the idea! Thanks!

    • Hi, AJ – I’m sorry to say that I am not familiar with “Tumblr”….. is it like Twitter? I am technologically unadvanced. The only place I have this blog is on WordPress. Hang onto your teeth….. and have a great holiday! xo “Margaret”

  4. Hi! This is Kirk Patrick Miller. I just caught your blog and I’m glad that my book helped! If you ever need anything, feel free to contact me.
Otherwise, feel free to reach out to me at @Chaos2Cured on Twitter or email below.
Thanks. It’s nice to know it’s helped somebody. We’ve gotten some great results for a great deal of people right now.
    Wishing you the best.
